What is a Wet Dry Vacuum Used for in HVAC?
Wet dry vacuums are used in HVAC for systems that have become very dirty.
An HVAC system can become filled with debris and need to be cleaned, often with water present.
For example, a swamp cooler will become filled with debris and need to be cleaned out as not to clog the water pump.
Often the bottom is washed with chemicals to get clean and then water along with a wet-dry vacuum pump to help remove dirt and grim.
A standard vacuum pump is not built to handle the water, which is when a vacuum pump that is built to suck up water is needed.
There are many other scenarios with the above only one example.
